Description
Practice speedpaint, but I like it so I'm sharing.
I'm trying out new styles and methods to see what I like...and I gotta say that this was pretty fun! Nice to do something detailed but loose at the same time. Here are some notes for me, and I guess for anyone who is interested. C&C is welcome, but read the below first - I CAN see some of my mistakes.
I used the grid method rather roughly on this, big 3x3 boxes at a 1:1 ratio with the ref pic. Might have turned out nicer if I drew a little bigger like I normally do, but since it was practice, meh. Used the same brush for both sketching and shading. Some wonky anatomy flaws, especially around the eye, chin, and neck. Ear on the off side is too small; ear in the front needs more detailing. Speedpaint, about 2 hours.

This is really good! I always have trouble drawing Arabian necks, and you drew hers (his?) really well! It's fabulous!
