I am sorry that I did not see this earlier.

I can understand. I mean. I have never put all my hopes into something to turn a profit, but I have put all I am into things that have failed before. The thing is though... You didn't fail. Sure things get tough and it doesn't work out the way you intended, but if anything I see this as a success. You put your time and effort into creating things. Do you know how many people would kill to be able to make things with their hands like that? And the things you make aren't silly or wrong. They are breathtaking. Every single piece is unique. Hell I would have bought one of everything if I'd had the money.

Maybe it wasn't a success... But it sure as hell wasn't a failure. You did your damnedest and should be proud of yourself. And  before you say, 'well then my damnedest wasn't enough.' Hold your tongue! ... Because to all the people who already admire you and love you this was just a blip on the radar of awesome. O_O You have a talent that is wonderful and should pursue it.

Okay. So you won't do commissions anymore. That's alright. Just as long as I get to see your artwork... because you are that astonishing an artist. Do you know how much I envy the way you put brush to canvas? (Or rather mouse to screen. XP) I mean damn. I gave up art for a long time because I thought I would never be as good as my best friend so why try?

Now I know better. It's my free expression. Just like it is for you.

So thank you... For the menagerie of stunning art you have given us.

Don't give up on future endeavors...

If you want to stop commissions I totally support you. Who needs people nagging the hell out of them anyway? Certainly not you! You need to do what makes you happy.
