I tried a new way of shading this time. I sort of like it. Opinions? And yeah...not so happy with the way Aislinn turned out for some reason. Meh. Most of the background was done by hand...if I wasn't so dern tired and ready to be done with this piece I might have painted the grass by hand too. Ah well.
Y'know, every time I do a nighttime piece I swear up and down that I'll never do another one. -grumble-
Yeah, I'm going to bed now. Vereh sleepeh. And thar be work tomorrow. Nyah.

Whatever you're doing differently with the shading/highlights on the horses, keep doing it. They look so real that they could jump off the page and come galloping through my library. The sand shadows feel a little soft, though-- most shadows I've seen the moon cast are very hard of edge. But, gosh, the shoulder and leg shading on this is nearly edibly gorgeous!
